| | At CHL we work on exciting projects across our nation and around the world. While most of our work at CHL involves Corps of Engineers sponsored research, reimbursable work for Corps Districts, and research for the US Department of Defense, we are enthusiatic about working with others.

 Domestic Options
 A - Private Industry
 | Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) |
| A BAA is a means of soliciting proposals for basic and applied research and that portion of development not related to the development of a specific system or hardware procurement. |
 | Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA) |
| An ERDC laboratory and one or more non-Federal partner(s) work together on a research project of mutual interest. ERDC laboratory may contribute staff, facilities, equipment and/or supplies (but NOT money) to the partner. Partner(s) may contribute staff, facilities, equipment, supplies and funds to ERDC. |
 | Patent Licensing Agreement (PLA) |
| These agreements license patents to a licensee either for one time use or for mass production. Payment for use is negotiated on a case by case basis. Technical assistance may be provided by ERDC lab (for a fee), if needed. |
 | Technical Assistance Agreement (TAA) |
| ERDC labs may provide technical assistance (for a fee) on a non-exclusive basis to help US firms that are competing for or have been awarded a contract for planning, designing, or constructing a project outside the US. |
 | Testing Services Agreement (TSA) |
| Person or entity may pay ERDC for the use of: laboratory services for the testing of materials, equipment, models, computer software. |
