TABS Numerical Modeling System
The TABS-MD (Multi-Dimensional) Numerical Modeling System is a collection of generalized computer programs and utility codes, designed for studying multi-dimensional hydrodynamics in rivers, reservoirs, bays, and estuaries. These models can be used to study project impacts on flows, sedimentation, constituent transport, and salinity.

RMA2 and RMA4 were written by Resource Management Associates, Lafayette, California, and modified by WES. SED2D was written jointly by Resource Management Associates and WES.

TABS Numerical Models The TABS System consists of these numerical models.
RMA2 - A one-dimensional/two-dimensional numerical model for depth-averaged flow and water levels.
RMA4 - A one-dimensional/two-dimensional numerical model for depth-averaged transport of one to six constituents.
TABS MDS (RMA10) - A multi-dimensional hydrodynamic numerical model.
SED2D - Formerly STUDH, a two-dimensional numerical model for depth-averaged transport of cohesive or a representative grain size of noncohesive sediments and their deposition, erosion, and formation of bed deposits.
GFGEN - Geometry File GENerator - The pre-processor for the TABS software programs.
